First, I'm curious to know about who made some big upset picks. Primary bracket only. Beyond the first round (unless you've picked a 1, 2 or 3 to go down in Rd. 1). I don't want Sir Dennis Bracket #4, either, I want the bracket you filled out that you like the best.

Here are my big upsets beyond the first round:

#13 Eastern Washington to the Sweet 16.

#10 Ohio State to the Sweet 16

#7 Michigan State to the Sweet 16.

#7 Wichita State to the Sweet 16

#4 UNC going to the final four...unfortunately through Arkansas.

#3 Iowa State going to the championship game

I watched a buddy of mine fill out his bracket the other day, and he'd filled it out to the Sweet16, and I was like 'you have picked straight seeds man.' He said that was his main bracket and that he'd fill out an 'upset bracket' later. I told him his main bracket has no chance. And he pointed to a couple of 8/9 upsets in the first round, but the second round was straight seeds winning to the Sweet 16 except a 2/3 upset.

Something I love to do in a bracket is to pick a low major team that has a really good record - like a 29-3 team - against a high major who might be in a 'tougher conference' but has a seed somewhere like 6 and below and is like a 23-10 team. I love picking those lower teams in that scenario.

I also love the teams that the pundits say don't belong - Texas, Indiana, UCLA, Ole Miss, etc. That's always a storyline, so why not pick one to go far?

I usually fill out two brackets I view as primary brackets (the picks above are just off one bracket) that are similar but have some key differences like the winner or an altered final four, but the play out of the brackets is usually very similar. I like to do the Sassy's/Grub's contest and always finish in the Top-10 and have won it also.

We do a player pool draft, also. Two years ago somehow I ended up being able to draft all Louisville players and won in a landslide. I had all players from a No. 1 last year too but they lost earlier than expected. I didn't pick Villanova to go far in any bracket, but I managed to pick all Nova players in this year's player pool, so if Nova wins, I won't win a bracket but I'll win the player pool.
