Got some more insight into practice over the last couple days:
- Umude is a bucket and playing at an extremely high level. Probably the team’s best player.
- CV has played well of late and will likely get a good amount of minutes. Potentially might start again, but likely Jaylin’s spot. He’s played well in Jaylin’s absence recently - hitting shots, moving well.
- Jaxson Robinson won’t play much but is playing well in practice. Works hard. Good culture guy. Can shoot and good size. Just needs to develop.
- Devo is the locker room and team leader. Very vocal. Still a great defender. He’s dunking on people in practice, too. Shot still isn’t great. Working on it. Also working on ballhandling.
- Lykes is very talented. Blows by defenders well. Gets frustrated easily. Has a tendency to dribble through too many people and over dribble. When he’s within the system he’s very good. Fast. Finishes at the rim very well.
- Toney has a very good set jumper. He’s a steady player. Very good and athletic. Does a little bit of everything but most likely won’t lead in scoring like I previously thought.
- Wade works very hard. Professional approach. Strong. Maximum effort. High basketball IQ. Will play over Kamani.
- JD is JD. Hits shots. Has the green light. Very good defender. Can be out of control or greedy with his shot selection, but still very solid.
