I think Romney clearly won. Biggest thing to watch will be bounce in swing state: Ohio. Fl, penn, etc. election will be decided by about 9 states.

I'm not disagreeing but the point is that Romney was intelligent and quick witted enough to pounce on a statement like that. Obama hasn't been able to do it all night and Romney has certainly tee'd a few up for him.
It looked like Alabama v Arkansas tonight. Romney rolled. Obama doesn't seem like the same guy I saw speaking 4 years ago. Never liked what he had to say but always thought he was a good speaker. I think Romney beat him at his own game.

Yeah, if Romney doesn't get a huge bounce in OH, it won't matter. There is no path for him without it and the current average of the polls shows a significant Obama lead. I would imagine the next 2 debates will be vastly different as well now that Romney has demonstrated he is fairly quick witted.

To sum up this debate in football terms, Obama was Houston Nutt; conservative, hesitant, playing not to lose. Romney was Bobby Petrino; aggressive, confident, playing not just to win but to dominate.

I always laugh at the way Razivoir weighs in to protect Obummer every time it comes up. Even though we have a 2 party system, the Democratic Party has been hijacked by radicals (both environmentalists and card carrying socialists). This is truly an election between America and European Populism. I don't think Obummer understands economics 101 and Romney was having to explain it to him. You can tell 1 person has created jobs and signed paychecks and 1 guy has never employed anyone (outside of giving them welfare).
The reason Obama struggles so much is that he never has to defend himself face to face without a telepromter. the media will never question his policies. Tonight he was EXPOSED. I can't imagine his campaign would allow him to debate again. IT IS UNREAL HOW MANY TIMES WHEN ASKED A QUESTION, OBAMA STARTED TALKING ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE. I dont think he can think on his feet and respond. To blame this on the moderator or anyone else is laughable.

Round two: I'm fading Obama. I'm saying he'll bounce back and put Romney on the defensive. During the Republican debates you could see Romney get flustered, when he was on the defense. The Democrats know this and will come back for blood.
I saw a poll a while back that surveyed Tea Party members and determined that 40%d were liberal.

Oh I think he understands everything that Ryan is saying and he most likely agrees. He just doesn't care because it doesn't matter to him or his progressive friends what anything actually costs. What ever it costs they will just tax, fine and extract any which way they can from the tax payers. It's just money and the gov can make more or tax more. It's for the greater good so the books never have to balance, they just don't have to. That's the beauty of gov, the books never have to make common sense. The gov never fails it just prints more ot taxes more to survive. Money isn't real to the progressive minded politician or the progressive minded voter.
