This stuff started circulating after the BOT meeting at Pulaski Tech last week. They seemed a little far fetched at the time but not impossible, which is why I started asking around more. I don't want to get into the reasons why because I can't nail those down for sure, I'm sure everyone has heard the rumors/issues by now, but I've heard it has been a 'screw you well screw you too' type of deal and/or that Long was asked to step down relating to a couple of different things that have gone around. All I can say is I started hearing this on Thursday and there are two people very close to the situation who have told me since yesterday that this was probably going down but they never could be solid on it. People in the media have discussed it behind the scenes for the past four days or so, but nobody was ready to jump on it.
