- one of only players that flashed to me that was unexpected was Mclure on defense. Nice surprise.
- I love the safety talent of Ramirez and Curl. Man it’s beem a long time since we’ve been able to say that.
- I’m sure Storey is a nice kid, but he’s not an SEC QB.
- I thought Kelley looked pretty good and is a more mobile threat than he gets credit for.
- Limpert’s leg looks strong on kickoffs but if he’s kicking FG’s this fall it will be frustrating.
- we really lack WR talent
- Briston Guidry seems to be 3rd team. Very surprised by how far he’s fallen on depth chart.
- RB Williams looked good
- disappointed Merrick didn’t get reps with 1st team
- don’t love #13 being primary punt return guy
- Austin Cantrell has very little role in this offense. Can we please try him on D!
- overall I really liked the scheme on O, just need more talent to execute (mainly at QB and WR positions).
To me it just looks like there are a lot of areas on offense that will see big talent improvements in the next few years.
