Until this week, Oregon's DMR was on the outside looking in to the NCAA championship. They were able to grab onto the 12th and final spot to get into the championships this week. This and Devon Allen's performance place them in a virtual time with us for #1. The SEC is a logjam just behind us. Don't sleep on the Aggies here.

I was hopeful for some upward mobility from the women's SEC met performance. That did not happen and we are on the outside looking in the top three for the moment. I think that we have just as good of a chance to win it as any of those other groups though. This competition between a packed women's field will make the national track meet worth watching. Fwiw, I'm bullish on the women.

We will know how everything shakes out much better tomorrow when we find out all of the final NCAA individual entries. When I have time I will try to evaluate that and put together a little more coherent rundown of what I expect from the NCAA meet.
