The university never released any information on their new team members. So, I decided to scan the roster and collect some information for myself. What I found was a renewed focus on sprints and jumps with an elite middle distance complement. There are some very interesting athletes in this group.
I'll post these guys information, one at a time, as day goes on. The first one is a dandy.
Habron Botts-FR, Lake Travis (Austin), Tx. 6’5” 200lb
I'll be the first to say that the measurements compare favorably to another very successful, tall sprinter. I'm resisting the urge to put the cart before the horse. He may end up being a 200/400 guy here? Anyway runs the turn beautifully. Finishes strong. Comes out of the blocks well too (from what I can tell). A very interesting talent.
100m-11.04
200m-21.90
