- Gerry Bohanon's in-home visit with the staff on Monday "couldn't have gone better," and some close to the situation now believe he's Arkansas' to lose. One person even went as far as to say they think it's a done deal for the Hogs.

If the Razorbacks do miss out on Bohanon, four-star Texas commitment Casey Thompson is next in line. If Bohanon chooses Arkansas, and right now I lean toward thinking he will, then Arkansas will be done at quarterback for 2018. I do think there's more interest from Thompson than people know, though.

- Multiple sources say junior kicker Cole Hedlund will not return to Arkansas after graduating this month.

- As of today, expect Arkansas to sign approximately 10 in the early signing period next Wednesday. They're hoping to sign at least 15 total, and they'd like to leave some room to see what happens in January. Obviously this number is fluid. When the staff took over, they technically only had eight spots to work with for this year's class as apparently there were some on scholarship that no one was aware of. Obviously it will require some attrition to get to where they want to be for this class, but attrition is to be expected every year.

- Noah Gatlin tells me he had a great in-home visit with new offensive line coach Dustin Frye Monday night.

- Sean Michael Flanagan will have Arkansas at his school tomorrow before they head to his house for a visit tomorrow night. SMF officially visited Oklahoma State over the weekend.

- Bumper Pool will welcome the Hogs to his home on Thursday. Arkansas will also check in on 2019 Rivals250 safety Jalen Catalon while they're in the Lone Star State on Thursday. Chad Morris' sister is a basketball coach at Legacy High, and sources say there is very legitimate interest coming from him.

- While it may seem like things have been fast-paced under the new staff so far, it's important to remember that it's only a partial staff and some of them are still bouncing back and forth to help SMU prepare for its Frisco Bowl game next Wednesday. As one person said, "Just wait until we really turn it loose."

- 2019 tight end Hudson Henry's new junior highlights can be seen below. A source very close to Hudson said he would compare Hudson to Hunter by saying, "Hudson is faster and stronger than Hunter was at this age. Both have great hands and they're close in stats as juniors. Hunter was a better route runner at this point."
