Arkansas had practice on Tuesday afternoon to prepare for the Ole Miss Rebels and the media was let in to view four periods of action for around 30 minutes total. The team practiced outside on the two outdoor practice fields as it was partly cloudy and mid-80s in Fayetteville.

Here are a few takeaways and tidbits from what I was able to see:

Tuesday practice takeaways (10/3):

~ Arkansas practiced in full pads on Tuesday afternoon.

~ Arkansas began with the usual bubble screen drill. The Hogs then transitioned to an 11-on-11 fastball starts period before finishing our allotted time with two individual drill periods.

~ As expected, there was plenty of shakeup on the offensive line during the fastball starts period. Beaux Limmer moved from center to left guard, Brady Latham moved from left guard to right tackle, Patrick Kutas moved from right tackle to center and Andrew Chamblee was at left tackle instead of Devon Manuel.

~ Actually, Manuel didn't go in fastball at all, but I don't believe that was due to injury as of now.

~ Defensive end John Morgan III looks good to go in individual drills, but he remained in a green jersey and he didn't go in fastball. Morgan was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss against Texas A&M.

~ Jaylon Braxton and Snaxx Johnson were the starting corners, Al Walcott and Jayden Johnson started at safety and Hudson Clark was the first team nickel in fastball.

~ Corner Dwight McGlothern was present but not participating during Tuesday's practice. Pittman said Monday that there's a possibility McGlothern could play this weekend after he suffered a concussion against Texas A&M.

~ Other players not participating in practice included OL Joey Su'a, OL Luke Brown, DE Jashaud Stewart, OL Eli Henderson and LB Mani Powell.

~ I did watch Dominique Johnson run over to the tight ends for the first period of individual drills, but tight ends coach Morgan Turner told Johnson he didn't have anything for him. So Johnson just went back and worked with the running backs like usual.

~ Sam Pittman was once again over with the offensive line during the media viewing period. He was helping over there for basically the whole time we were able to watch individual drills.

~ I noticed scouts from the New York Giants, Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans in attendance for Tuesday's practice.
