Still early in the search but here is what I got corroborated by a few of my people:
-Kiffin would be open to a low buyout in case he wants to go to the NFL after doing well here.
-At least a few high profile donors (not including Jerruh) are more than fine with the hire if it moves that direction.
-He is still very much interested in the job.
-He is candidate 1b (idk how much I believe that because not much is coming out of the athletic department).
-His ability to hire a staff and his connections in the coaching world would land him a massive budget for assistants if he gets the job.
