From the production our defense gave us this game should have never been close.

Whats working...?

Seems like most things past the LOS is actually working well. Quick slants, screens, even some deep passes are working.

Whats not working...?

Anything running the ball with the QB. Total drive killers. Either hand the ball off or designed QB run. But not both. You combine a slow QB with a slow developing play usually equals a 3-5 yard loss. Like the announcers said, OM wanted us to run that.

We ran one screen, it was set for a huge gain but was dropped. We have completely gotten away from throwing stuff to the RBs.

Unless Briles figures out whats working and whats not working and makes changes his career here at Arkansas has been a mistake.

This fye, but literally pinpoints my point about the ball being handed to us on turnovers. I don’t think a single one of these was caused by contact from us.

Penn State medical director reporting that 1/3 of all those diagnosed with COVID have myocarditis. I heard this report this morning on the radio on First Team and they were saying that they've spoken to Ohio State and not a single one of their players who tested positive had this. So, not sure who we should believe. Maybe it's all just one team and all of them had it

I live north of Fort Worth (Justin, TX) and I am starting to notice more and more people not wearing masks in town. Granted, it’s a smaller town, but we’ve got a Buccees 2 miles from my house and when I stop in there for breakfast tacos, I see maybe 50% of people wearing masks. Restaurants are a little different but still have seen people “forget” their mask and the hostess tell them not to worry about it.

Same deal when I was in LR not too long ago. Camden was a different story.. not a mask in sight lol.

How are people responding to these prolonged mask mandates in your area? And if you don’t mind listing your area for reference. When will people just completely ignore the mandates to the point that they can’t even be policed any more?

Do we ever hear how Enoch Jackson is doing in practice? I know there is some talented guys ahead of him in the depth chart, but he was always an interesting prospect to me. Undersized but also quick for his size. I dream that our program will one day find itself an Aaron Donald!

I think Briles is a good coach! I just think he’s working with a qb who truly doesn’t fit what he wants to do. Briles offenses look the best with a true mobile qb. I think with Hornsby next year this offense would look totally different. Franks isn’t mobile enough.

No complaints about any of these guys looking at their tapes. I'm not sure there's any in the group that screams year one starter but I also don't have Keuan Parker's new tape so maybe. I'll probably be wrong.
