JCHoops Podcast: David Patrick

DP was an incredible interview. Funny story, I actually met him in 2008 when he was with St. Mary’s, so we had a good chat about that.

He built Riverside entirely with defense (two 7-footers, too) so expect the defense to only improve. It was going to anyway, but still great to hear.

There’s a ton of great stuff in this interview when it posts, so stay tuned.

Sydney Sutherland

Sydney went missing in Newport yesterday. She was last seen by a UPS driver around 3pm jogging close to her home . She is 5’3 105 lbs blonde hair. She was wearing white tank top , black shorts , pink shoes. They found her phone today on an overpass 1/4 mile from her house.

At the time there are no real solid leads . If anyone in here was traveling down highway 67 yesterday between 2-5pm on the north side of Newport and seen anything out of the ordinary please contact Jackson county police.

I have known her boyfriend for around 10 years. These are really nice , good people and they want her home.

YouTube TV

I realize cord cutting threads periodically pop up, but I haven't seen anything on YouTube TV.

My DirecTV contract ends in February. I have been on a 6 month extension at a reduced cost but my bill is about to take a major jump in price.

I really only keep Direc around for the sports aspect. Calling their customer service is painful and it's gotten way worse under ATT leadership.

I was looking at YouTubeTV as a replacement. It offers all ESPN channels and the SEC network. I don't live in the state and just don't want to miss any games. Has anyone used this service? What are your impressions? Any other service you recommend?

I be damned if I get locked into a new 2 year contract with DirecTV to the tune of 150+ dollars a month.
