Because, as @mcbmd posted elsewhere, drug companies have stopped refilling prescriptions for lupus and other patients who need the drug and the pills have run dry. If there was more scientific evidence that the drug really does have a significant impact on life or death patients, I don’t think they’d make that call.
I don’t think it would stop a dying patient from getting the drug if they really wanted it but it will stop other, healthier covid patients from convincing their doctors from writing a script unnecessarily

If I was dying from covid, I don’t gaf what this doctor says, i’m trying plaquenil if they got it. France is all in on it and is showing a good recovery rate since. Plenty of US doctors are showing promise too. This is from that guy in NY that was reporting that he had been using hydroxychloroquine successfully on 100s of patients before that shitty French paper came out. No wonder his success rate was so high!!

if i get tested positive or if anyone get's tested positive you get taken in once the results come in and based on age and health you either wait it out or get admitted

Not true in Houston. You wait it out at home and if your symptoms get to the point where you need to go to the hospital, you go. Otherwise you put yourself on lockdown.
Why in the world would you want to bring everyone in that tested positive? Just spreading it more. Your town is dumb.
It looks like the example they used from a Miami beach showed them dispersing across midwest and east coast. I’m confused, where did they think they went or what is it trying to tell us that we didn’t know?

I was just asking because it seems like if you think you might be exposed you should get tested. How sick you are should be irrelevant they want to know who has it so they can track it down and isolate it.
