Were the racist bigots in Charlottesville that he openly supported and refused to condemn until he absolutely had to being falsely labeled? Not once were they called thugs and he didn't threaten to unleash the military on them either.
Wut?

Were the racist bigots in Charlottesville that he openly supported and refused to condemn until he absolutely had to being falsely labeled? Not once were they called thugs and he didn't threaten to unleash the military on them either.
False narrative. You want to see his original comments? They were made at a press conference for a bill signing. This is exactly what he said. You tell me he didn't condemn them from the start after reading this.

"Thank you very much. As you know, this was a small press conference, but a very important one. And it was scheduled to talk about the great things that we're doing with the secretary on the Veterans Administration. And we will talk about that very much so in a little while. But I thought I should put out a comment as to what's going on in Charlottesville. So, again, I want to thank everybody for being here -- in particular I want to thank our incredible veterans. And thank you, fellows. Let me shake your hands. … Great people. They’re great people.

"But we're closely following the terrible events unfolding in Charlottesville, Va.. We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides. It's been going on for a long time in our country. Not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. This has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America. What is vital now is a swift restoration of law and order and the protection of innocent lives. No citizen should ever fear for their safety and security in our society. And no child should ever be afraid to go outside and play or be with their parents and have a good time.

"I just got off the phone with the governor of Virginia, Terry Mcauliffe, and we agree that the hate and the division must stop, and must stop right now. We have to come together as Americans with love for our nation and true -- really, I say this so strongly, true affection for each other. Our country is doing very well in so many ways. We have record, just absolute record, employment. We have unemployment the lowest it's been in almost 17 years. We have companies pouring into our country, Foxconn and car companies and so many others. They're coming back to our country. We're renegotiating trade deals to make them great for our country and great for the American worker. We have so many incredible things happening in our country, so when I watch Charlottesville, to me it's very, very sad.

"I want to salute the great work of the state and local police in Virginia. Incredible people, law enforcement, incredible people. And also the National Guard. They've really been working smart and working hard. They've been doing a terrific job. Federal authorities are also providing tremendous support to the governor; he thanked me for that. And we are here to provide whatever other assistance is need. We are ready, willing and able.

"Above all else, we must remember this truth, no matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are all Americans first. We love our country. We love our God. We love our flag. We're proud of our country. We're proud of who we are. So, we want to get the situation straightened out in Charlottesville, and we want to study it. And we want to see what we're doing wrong as a country where things like this can happen. My administration is restoring the sacred bonds of loyalty between this nation and its citizens, but our citizens must also restore the bonds of trust and loyalty between one another. We must love each other, respect each other and cherish our history and our future together. So important. We have to respect each other. Ideally we have to love each other.

Not false at all. Check the timeline.

Not false at all. Check the timeline.
Rally was held Aug 11 and 12, 2017.

Those comments I posted were made on Aug 12, 2017.

Those were the first comments he made about the situation and he clearly condemned them.
So what exactly do you mean check the timeline?

The MSM and the woke twitter dumb ****s have had 1/2 the country believing Trump is a racist since the day he walked in the White House. It’s the Dems biggest play. Wake TF up people.

I've thought Trump was a racist since he was sued for his discrimination practices in housing and the way he treated the Central Park 5. Things that happened decades ago. Yea let's just blame the media. Man please....

Exactly. Even the DOJ sued the Trump Organization decades ago for being racist.

No answer to my question about the timeline?
Exactly. Even the DOJ sued the Trump Organization decades ago for being racist.
they sued his father’s company. In 1973. And didn’t win. So Trump is a racist because of it. Brilliant deduction. Talk about ignorance. Labeling a man a racist, one of the most despicable labels one can have, over something his dad was ACCUSED of 47 years ago is as ignorant as it gets. Unless of course you want to attach the same label to Biden who opposed desegregation and said he didn’t want his kids to grow up in a racial jungle in 1977.

He was President of the company in 1973, and they settled... not necessarily "winning the case"

I'm sure the DOJ just sues random people for the fun of it.

"
In this case, a black man in search of an apartment in Brooklyn in 1972 saw a sign on a building: "apartment for rent."

"He met with the superintendent, and the superintendent said, 'I'm very sorry, but the apartment is rented — it's gone,' " Morse says. "So the gentlemen said to him, 'Well, why is the sign out? I still see a sign that says apartment for rent.' And the superintendent said, 'Oh, I guess I forgot to take it down.' "

How The Man Created The Brand In 'Trump Revealed'

When Morse went to the building to ask about the same apartment, she says, "They greeted me with open arms and showed me every aspect of the apartment."

Morse says she reported her experience to the Human Rights Commission, and then returned to the apartment building. After she was offered a lease, the black man who had tried to rent the apartment entered the office with a city human rights commissioner, and the three of them confronted the building superintendent.

"He said, 'Well, I'm only doing what my boss told me to do — I am not allowed to rent to black tenants,' " Morse says."

Gonna be a lot of pissed off dems in this thread when trump wins in a landslide. I wouldn’t even recommend voting if you’re in Arkansas. It’s going red in the first 3 hours

Clearly that is all made up media spin. Never mind the official records and testimony.

but but but the DOJ leadership said they didn't use pepper spray/tear gas!

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...-used-pepper-spray-trump-photo-op/3184223001/

"After further review, the U.S. Secret Service has determined that an agency employee used pepper spray on June 1st, during efforts to secure the area near Lafayette Park " according to a statement the agency tweeted. "The employee utilized oleoresin capsicum spray, or pepper spray, in response to an assaultive individual."

I accept your apology @futurehawgdad9

Tear gas and pepper spray are the exact same thing...

tear gas is a generic term used for certain chemicals used to cause tears... such as pepper spray.

Reading the article helps.

CDC defines pepper balls / spray as tear gas. They treat tear gas as an umbrella term. The park police last week said they didn’t realize it could be defined that way and so they said they didn’t use tear gas initially. However you want to define it, they are both irritants with similar results and used for similar reasons. It’s one of those things that the two sides are just not going to agree on.

What should I apologize for?

How many times did you say earlier in the thread “soandso said they didn’t use tear gas so it must be true”?
I linked articles. They said they didn’t use Tear gas and it looks like they didn’t, but they did use things that might as well be considered tear gas.

Some other facts we know is that 22 or more of the police, SS, National guard or whoever we’re there were sent to the hospital. You probably think that’s ok though.

Did you even read the article you linked? They have the exact same physical symptoms, lol.
Bacon and ham are both pork, but they aren't the same. In the end it doesnt matter if you admit you were wrong and are twisting words again, its not gonna stop you. You are so morally superior you cant help yourself but talk shit about others

For every example you bring up, I can post example to the contrary.

All I’m saying is there is a lot of lies made up about Trump, and you just happened to try and quote one of them.

The only thing that you should look at is policy. He has done more for the minorities in this country than any other president. That’s a fact.

I wish Trump and others would stop saying he’s done more for blacks than any other President, it’s just dumb.

this article explains a bit. Sure he’s done some things, but comparing him to guys like Lincoln or Johnson puts him nowhere near “the best ever”. Lincoln freed the slaves for goodness sakes.

I gave you a very even handed explanation. But whatever.
And it didnt dispute my argument that they arent the same thing. Whether people who dont know any better use them as the same term is irrelevant, they arent the same thing.

I wouldnt expect you to admit to anything, your opinion of your opinion is sky high, as always

I certainly respect my opinion more than I do yours. I explained the issue to you. I didn’t even take a position. But you’re too obsessed with Trump and bootlicking to even accept information. As always.
