As someone in a restaurant for work, I'm not sure how wearing a mask for 2 minutes makes a difference either. I just do as told so that nobody reports us for violating standards of reopening.

It makes sense if you are working, but being in a restaurant for an hour meal and wearing it for 45 seconds is a little silly. Its like the nfl banning TD celebrations that aren't 6 feet away from each other. I mean, they just ran 15 plays to get there s to elbows, but the high five gonna get them covid

Also, have you been to Wally-world or home depot, if so, there is no way in hell you can say a huge percentage of the US is wearing them, thus is the problem, in which you are contributing to. But you do you player..

I'm for anything to get us out of this situation sooner. Problem is, no one is scientifically certain that masks help stop the spread without long term studies being done. So we wear masks just in case.

With that being said, I wear one but don't really care if no one else does, unlike the extremist libtards. So I think the blow back from people is in direct response to the extremist libtards who want to impose their thoughts and feelings on everyone else. People grow tired of being told what to do and how to feel by complete strangers.

Your Honor, I present to you the evidence regarding the issue at hand in today's world of PUSSIFICATION. One side believes to just let me live my life and make the best decisions for me and my family. The other side feels the need to demonize if you don't agree with them and cast blame.

HTHog, while he's presumably believes panic porn is way overblown, he still takes precautions by using common sense. And even though, he's skeptical, he still takes precautions JUST IN CASE. Yet, he doesn't feel the need to berate anyone who doesn't wear one because if they want to run the risk of catching it, then let them do it. Rather he does what is right for him and his family and allows others to do the same.

Hogaudacious, on the other hand seems angry and seemingly feels the need to assert if you don't wear a mask you are contributing to the problem and has a derogatory tone in saying... "you do you player". They feel a need to save the world and police everyone, while in another breathe they want to defund the police. Kind of ironic.

If you're heterosexual, good. If you're homosexual or bi-sexual, good. If you are a believer, fine. If you don't believe, that's your right. If you cheer for the Razorbacks, awesome. You hate the Hogs, and cheer for Ole Miss, that's fine too (not really). I may not agree with you and we have our differences, but as long as it doesn't affect my ability to making a living, provide for my family, or hinder my safety.... then have at it!!!!!! Just don't feel like you need to tell me I'm wrong for my beliefs or feel the need to patronize me.

well again, it's either have 20 different topics on the front page, or condense it all down to 1. This is the best option.


We could just go scorched earth and delete everything(and that will be the rule once sports actually comes back), but if we did that right now we would have pretty much nothing to talk about.

Most people at the bad Wal Mart in Ft Smith (Zero St) were wearing masks yesterday. If they are wearing them there, they are wearing them everywhere.

I worked there in HS and it wasn’t bad then. At the time it was one of the biggest in the nation. A lot of Oklahoma and Arkoma people go to it.

Fort Smith passed a "resolution" recommending masks earlier this week, but they aren't mandated yet. They have another vote tomorrow, and it looks like it'll pass.

That resolution I think has been tabled. I also saw that they changed "required" to "encouraged" so really, no change.

Agree, and if you're one of the idiots that want the police defunded the next time you or a neighbor gets assaulted, raped, stolen from, or have your property destroyed, don't call the police, call antifa, a social worker, or black lives matter. If there was any justice in the world, the protesters in New York City would march on the mayors house and the governors mansion and start tearing them apart, then when those morons called the police for help, the police would refuse to come as they have been ordered to stand down.
