Unless you’re watching pro wrestling without a crowd, little league baseball, or rocket league on ESPN, there aren’t any live sports on right now. Even without live sports, there has been PLENTY to talk about.

- the most transfers I’ve ever SEEN in a single off-season
- NBA/MLB player and owner drama
- college athletes potentially getting paid
- first year for Pitt (which NIKKI and Hutch are bringing multiple new articles every single day)
- Muss has plenty of podcast appearances to listen to
- we’re playing in-State schools in all major sports
- we don’t have a scholarship cap in baseball

The list goes on. Politics/social movements have always, ALWAYS been merged with sports. Why does this specific time period have to be the end-all be-all for some people? Watch a coach and a player have a disagreement over racial insensitivities and then talk it out. That’s still sports news. MLB/NBA players not playing for lowered salaries is nothing new, the only thing that’s changed is the virus aspect of it. Everything else sports related is still just sports.

So that leaves a coronavirus thread. A thread about a pandemic (that’s factual; can’t dispute that it’s a pandemic, regardless of how big or small of an issue it is) is enough to make people leave a site in the midst of a ton of major sports news stories? Y’all seriously need to grow a damn pair.
