Oh yea. Unless some soul searching it done, I could see them getting hammered in 2022 and losing the general in 2024 easily.
Of course my way of changing it would be significantly different than others. Need to go into the Populist/Progressive side of the party. They may lose some moderates, but in my opinion there gains would be significant.
Their biggest problem is that people like a lot of liberal ideas but hate liberal politicians. Look at all the weed measures that passed, increase in mimimum wage in Florida, etc.

I would fit into your last paragraph pretty well. There are many liberal ideas that sound great in theory but are actually horrendous. Free college is the one that really burns me up because it’s so easy to compare and realize it would be a massive waste of money. As far as politicians go it’s giving an inch and they take a mile. They take good ideas and stretch them into being something radical.
Same, I am pretty liberal on social issues and I’m fiscally conservative. Democrats are so far away from the moderate vote with their politicians that they will get murdered if the republicans can put any sort of reasonable person in front of the podium.
Nobody knows. Biden obviously has the easier route and a lot of momentum, but this is crazy close. Georgia will be a recount regardless of who wins it I would imagine.
North Carolina allows mail in votes until 11/12, so we won't know anything until then from NC.
Georgia officials were just on tv. They have 61k votes left to count.

The funny thing is, they must be postmarked by election day.
Elongating it this much is them say, "Once it get's in the system, we don't think we can handle this volume for a week."
The Ds did a great job in the courts before the election: No postmark needed in PA, removing Green Party across the board to remove their fringe from defecting, NC getting 10 days after the election, and on and on and on.
The Democratic Party 100% would rather have Trump reelected than the possibility of a Bernie or other Lefty presidency. They love Trump bc, they the status quo is for the most part maintained, thus they get to keep their money and power.
Also, he is great for fundraising, they raise hundreds of millions of dollars to set on fire in Senate races like in Kentucky and South Carolina.
