When the NFL Scouting Combine begins Thursday, five former Razorbacks will be participating in front of NFL coaches and executives to build up their stock for April's NFL Draft.

Arkansas' five participants, wide receivers Andrew Armstrong and Isaac TeSlaa, defensive linemen Eric Gregory and Landon Jackson and running back Ja'Quinden Jackson, will all compete in the event, which lasts until March 3.

The combine officially began with Monday orientation and team interviews, while prospects will have media interviews starting Wednesday. On-field workouts will be conducted from Thursday to Monday.

NFL Network will air the on-field workouts live from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind., which is the home of the Indianapolis Colts. The action will get started at 2 p.m. CT Thursday and Friday, and then 12 p.m. CT Saturday and Sunday.

Below are details on how to watch each former Razorback, the latest on their draft status and more:

Andrew Armstrong - Wide Receiver

Seen as an under-the-radar prospect due to his lack of high-end speed, Armstrong still led the SEC in receiving yards in 2024 (1,140 yards) with one touchdown reception. Armstrong totaled four 100+ yard games last season, with a season-high 164 yards against Oklahoma State on Sept. 7.

According to NFL Analyst Lance Zierlein, Armstrong's pros include his long frame and hand size, his ability to catch with his hands rather than his body and his run-after-the-catch prowess. Ahead of the combine, Armstrong has a 5.87 prospect grade, which equates to an "average backup or special-teamer." He also has a Next Gen Stats total score of 63 among combine wide receivers, good for 37th.

"Long-limbed, tight-hipped wideout with average feet and a lack of separation talent," Zierlein said. "Armstrong put together solid catch production during his two seasons at Arkansas but will need to prove it is translatable in the pros. He doesn’t get in and out of breaks quickly enough to separate and lacks the pure gas to be a field-stretching option, but he has good size and ball skills."

Isaac TeSlaa - Wide Receiver

One of the many failures by Arkansas' coaching staff in 2024 was not starting TeSlaa enough. Despite his unique blend of size and speed, the Michigan native only caught 28 passes for 546 yards and three scores. One of his top games was his last as a Hog, a three-catch, 107-yard outing against Texas Tech in the Liberty Bowl on Dec. 27.

Interestingly enough, TeSlaa currently has a higher prospect grade than Armstrong, coming in at a 5.92. His projected combine wide receiver rank is No. 47 with a 57 overall score.

"TeSlaa is a big slot receiver whose stock might be on the rise after his performances during Senior Bowl week," Zierlein said. "He can mismatch smaller cornerbacks with his frame and play strength and is a reliable pass catcher when contested. He builds up speed as a vertical slot but isn’t sudden enough to simply uncover as a possession slot against tight man. TeSlaa’s ball skills and ability to work down the field from the slot should carry backup value for teams in the market for help at receiver."

Eric Gregory - Defensive Tackle

A sixth-year veteran for the Razorbacks, Gregory was a consistent mainstay in the trenches throughout his collegiate career. He racked up 42 total tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks in 2024 — all career-highs.

Gregory also falls within the same prospect grade bracket as Armstrong and TeSlaa at a 5.80. He projects as the 26th-best combine defensive tackle with a score of 65.

"Sixth-year senior with adequate length and solid point-of-attack anchor but a lack of playmaking potential," Zierlein said. "Gregory is known as a doer and not a talker, with his work easy to find on tape. He combines block-eating, two-gapping power and the ability to discard single blocks with upper-body twitch.

"He lacks lateral quickness to make plays on the move. There is not much to his pass rush, which hinders his draft value. Still, Gregory can play either interior tackle spot and has a chance to become a two-down backup."

Landon Jackson - Defensive End

Expected to be Arkansas' highest draft pick is Landon Jackson, who totaled 49 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and a forced fumble in 2024. According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Jackson is a projected second-round pick with a No. 55 overall rank.

When conducting media interviews Wednesday, Jackson confirmed that he's already met formally with Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott. Jackson has a prospect grade of 6.32, which equates to "will eventually be a plus starter" and his NFL comparison is Tampa Bay Buccaneer defensive lineman Logan Hall, per Zierlein.

"High-energy edge prospect with projectable traits but unorthodox movements and body control that might create a lack of conviction when it’s time to stamp a grade," Zierlein said. "Jackson added muscle mass to his leggy frame, but a lack of bend hinders his anchor and contact balance against force. He’s long and urgent in fighting his way past the man in front of him.

"He’ll never be a natural edge bender but he plays with connected hands and feet that should allow him to develop more impactful rush counters. It will look gawky at times, but Jackson seems to be growing into his frame and possesses the traits and motor to make it as a future starter on the edge."

Ja'Quinden Jackson - Running Back

Wrapping things up for the Razorbacks is Ja'Quinden Jackson, who rushed for 790 yards and 15 touchdowns on 149 carries despite dealing with an injury in 2024. He was given a 5.68 prospect grade, which equates to a "candidate for the bottom of the roster or practice squad."

"A big back with an imposing frame, Jackson is a one-speed runner lacking burst and juice in the open field. He reacts to traffic once he gets into the run but isn’t proactive enough in his early reads to set up linebackers and unlock the lane. He’s too slow getting in and out of cuts, allowing defenses to rally and tackle quickly.

"He plays with adequate lane choice and can add yards after contact with his size and leg drive. Jackson's size and strength will appeal to teams but a lack of functional speed and third-down value limit his ceiling."
