I really thought Devin White looked good. White is right dead at 6-0 and looks all of the 253 he's listed at. He was easily the heaviest linebacker there and to me was one of only 2 guys who were true middle LBers, but I also thought he showed the speed, feet, coverage and change-of-direction to play all three spots if he really wanted to. But he wants to play RB hands down.

I think he can be an excellent linebacker, but I also thing he just brings something different to the table at RB. He was also the biggest RB there by a margin. Also, when it comes for his day in the NFL, being right at 6-0 might hurt him in some eyes as far as being an early, early draftee. But at RB he's got ideal height.

I just wonder what will happen with him in a college weight room. He's not one of these shredded up 6-pack guys, but not fat either. Just a big guy with really quick feet.

When he'd line up on offense in one-on-one against some of those tall, fast OLBs there, they couldn't handle him. And there wasn't a single LB there I saw who didn't belong there.

The clip of him going against No. 24 near the end of the highlights I put together was Lyndell Wilson, who is rated the No. 14 overall prospect in the country. White pulled really pulled away from him in that clip before the ball was dramatically overthrown and Wilson intercepted it.

As for where he's going, I think it'll come down to Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss and Alabama...maybe Auburn, maybe FSU. I think he wants to play in the SEC, though.

Arkansas has connections with Jared Cornelius and Michael Smith and he really seems to like Coach Bielema. It's apparent to me he's wanting to come in and at least be one of the top-2 backs early, which I think he could probably pull off anywhere. For Arkansas, the door is wide open for him to come in and play a major role. Arkansas hasn't signed on an elite back since 2013 with Alex Collins and 2012 with Jonathan Williams. Those guys have been production machines, too. This offense can support 2 or 3 backs. So when considering potential playing time and how badly a team needs him, Arkansas is a clear No. 1 in that regard and offers him personal connections. Don't know if it'll be enough, but it's clear to see.

For LSU, they obviously have Leonard Fournette there. But they also signed four RBs in the Class of 2015, including Rivals100 member David Duce (who is almost as big as White at 5-11, 238) and 5-star Derrius Guice. So just in the last 2 classes that's 3 real studs at LSU. There's also a lot of talk that if Miles doesn't do something this year then he could be on his way out. LSU's 3-year record is 10-3, 10-3 and 8-5. If Miles doesn't bounce it back up this year then he could be in trouble, and they've always been looking for a reason to let him go it seems.

In the last class at RB, Alabama signed 1 Five-Star and 1 Four-Star. In 2014, they signed Bo Scarbrough who was a 5-star who got injured last season. From what I understand, White is the No. 1 guy on their list for 2016, but there are 3 highly regarded backs who will all be freshmen this year on the Alabama roster. Alabama is kinda in the same boat as Arkansas as they have offered around 10 RBs but all but a few are committed elsewhere (same names like Holyfield and Duvwah Waley, also). That's what's working against Alabama, but it also hasn't mattered in the past with Alabama.

I'll also say he and Michael Divinity seem to be pretty tight. I don't know that i'll weigh in as much as it does with Shea Patterson, who is committed to Ole Miss, but it could be a factor. The Rebels do have a Rivals100 RB committed already in Justin Connor, and he's one of 2 they already have on board. They also got Eric Swinney at RB last year, who was the No. 115 overall prospect in the nation. Most of the RBs Ole Miss recruits however are in that 185-pound range. Just 2 backs over 200 pounds the last 4 classes. Aside from one year when Jeff Scott went for over 800 yards, they haven't had a back top 600 yards under Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss.

For some reason I don't feel like Auburn will end up with him, but I could be wrong on that. Auburn obviously has backs go over 1,000 yards but it's usually one guy and then everybody else. But if you're the feature back for Auburn you can pile up yards. Auburn signed 2 4-star backs and a 5-star back in the last class. That's a load of talent. They also got a 5-star the year before.
