Crazy to think he'll be playing after watching his knee go the opposite direction it's supposed to go a few weeks back.

List any longshot pickups that you wish Pitt and crew would try to make. For me one would be former 5star and #1 LB recruit from the 2018 class Palaie Gaoteote who is leaving USC. 6'2 and now weighing 250lb. kid with unique athleticism. Kid has a 40-inch vertical and can do a 360 windmill dunk at 250lb. Has shown the nimbleness and change-of-direction necessary to consistently tackle quality Power-5 RBs in space. Played Will LB but I would talk to him about being an A-to-A Mike and helping off the edge also. Again, I know it is the longest of longshots but just dreaming out loud. His younger brother who is a 4star in the 2020 class just flipped from USC to Michigan State, signing with the Spartans. So I assume that is a possible landing spot for Palaie.

Just heard this from our Georgia Rivals guy, who also does a great job covering baseball: "Understand still no final decisions on the 2021 baseball schedule by the SEC. Conference is taking its time, but options include having 12 SEC weekends or possibly 10 SEC weekends with four game series. Still looking for season to begin on Feb. 19 with non conference games."

I posted about him in my big board notebook thread but I'm hearing the ULM OL is just waiting to get accepted to grad school here and will likely walk-on. He's an Arkansas kid and he wants to play for Sam so I think that's why the scholarship isn't very important to him. Not sure he'd be a big contributor given his PFF grades versus P5 competition but it'd be some nice experienced depth (over 1,000 snaps taken, mostly at RT). He'd have just one year to play.

I know....no one cares. Committing tomorrow. I have no clue what’s happened with his recruitment. The comments in the tweet seem like it will be OU. Crystal balls lean OU as well.

There’s gotta be some kind of unwritten rule against hiring him in the SEC. Don’t get how Auburn (or others) havent pulled the trigger on him.
