Torn Acl, torn Mcl, other tissue damage..sounds like he nearly got his leg ripped off at the knee. May not play til ‘22.
This kind of injury back in the day would be a career ender.

Good job on the radio today.

I was just thinking how did he not get any playing time on Saturday? Would have thought his big body could have helped for a hand full of plays. Is he hurt, or do the coaches just not think he is worthy of reps? It is baffling to me, that a guy with his physical gifts doesn’t see the field in a game like that.

I know he says running back. But can he play linebacker? That’s good size coming out of highschool. And saw that he ran a 4.52 laser at a camp last year. He could be 225/230 I’m sure and stay fast.

Pittman may give him another year, but I’m not impressed! He’s definitely under performing with what we have. He’s calling too many highschool plays. he needs to realize to throw it down field more! And honestly he’s not good at reading what the defense is doing. Plus! I hate the idea of sending Burks in motion every play and wearing him down.

Jayden Johnson is still committed to South Carolina, but I do not see him in the Gamecocks' class when all is said and done. Things can definitely change in recruiting, but at this time, things are trending heavily that he will end up elsewhere.

Since Muschamp was let go, schools like Miss St and Virginia Tech have reached out to see if he has interest in their programs. Those two have started communication with the Cedartown, Ga. athlete, but it is Arkansas and Georgia Tech that seem to be the true players in this race.

Here is what Johnson had to say about the Razorbacks when we spoke this week about his commitment status: "I have gotten to know the people at Arkansas and I like them a lot. They have brought me in and made me feel like family. I have been talking to coach Carter, coach Odom and coach Pittman a lot — I like all them. How they make me feel is a big reason I like Arkansas."

Based on my intel, outside of South Carolina, Arkansas is on top of his list. Will location, and not being able to visit play into this decision? Only time will tell, but Johnson is a December graduate, so he is going to sign next month.

As of now, Johnson may stay committed to South Carolina as they look to hire a new head coach, and evaluate his options while on the Gamecocks commitment list.

Just re-watched. They had a guy over the snapper. Two defenders on the right side and 5 of the left side.

We had a balanced line (4 of each side). So, on the left side we had 4 blocking 5. No adjustments made, just a whiff by Nathan Bax as the rusher flew by him.

Per Blue Ribbon they’re picked 10th out of 10 in the SWAC.

They went 4-27 last year.
They have one returning starter.

Their head coach is Lindsay Hunter of NBA fame.
Their best player is Caleb Hunter, son of head coach Lindsay Hunter of NBA fame.
