Who is AJ Hampton?

Watching Michigan State vs Northwestern and they were just talking about NW starting corner from Warren, Arkansas? Why have I never heard of him? I searched his name on this forum, nothing. Also can’t find a rivals or 247 profile..

Here is his ESPN profile:

So did he play with Treylon and Bubba?

FB Recruiting Tidbits on a couple of in-state prospects...

Remember Dezmon Jackson, a RB out of Parkers Chapel? He went to Hutch C.C. for a couple of years and just recently committed to Oklahoma State.

Ladarius Burnes, a RB out of Little Rock Christian, played at Arkansas Tech this season but announced today that he will transfer to Independence C.C.

Online Mattresses?

Anyone purchase a mattress from one of these many online mattress companies? I am looking at the purple hybrid premier but after looking at Casper, Nectar, etc it is so confusing as to which is better. There are some significant differences in price with some. Any thoughts/experience with one of these?

Thanks for any input

FB Recruiting Mississippi LB/1B Stone Blanton putting football first in recruiting

Jackson, Mississippi linebacker Stone Blanton is the No. 10 ranked inside linebacker in the country and the No. 6 prospect in the state. Blanton is committed to Mississippi State to play baseball but didn't have his commitment marked on his profile, so I looked into it. While the Bulldogs like him as a future 1B or outfielder, Mike Leach's staff is apparently not that into him at the moment and he's not considered as part of their class.

"I’m letting football lead my recruitment, so I’m open. A number of programs have said I could play both."

Blanton was offered by Arkansas in April, followed by South Carolina, Kentucky, A&M, Ole Miss and more. He mentioned to me that he's had some contact with the baseball staff in Fayetteville and he mentioned the new facility they're building.

He said he's been keeping up with Arkansas's defense this season: "I love how the linebackers are leading the SEC in tackles. My kind of defense."

He has a lot of interest and interacts with Arkansas's stuff on social media a lot so I'd say the Razorbacks might have a good shot at him if DVH has interest.

Hudson Clark

What an amazing story! I really want him to succeed. Apparently teams are going after him. What are the boards thoughts on him, can this walk on get better and become an all sec defensive back or was this just he had a couple of great games and we let the 4 star athlete take over next year? I am pulling for him to continue him to get better. Thoughts

Can we trade officials with the P12 please

Just saw a targeting call in the Oregon/Oregon St game that was very similar to the Catelon play. Maybe not quite as hard a hit...Cat can lay the wood, but it clearly looked clean and got overturned on replay. Didn’t take them long to do it either. They did it like it should be done by a competent officiating crew with no hidden agenda. The replay angles, everything was eerily similar.
Stopped play to review @ :56 left in the first quarter.

Matt Campbell and Iowa Stae

I wonder if Iowa State will be looking for a way out of that contract in two years. I know Mr. 7-6 had a small cult following here last winter. Seeing them get manhandled by Louisiana Lafayette was a shock even as overrated as I think he is. Parity in college football is at an All-time high. Hopefully Arkansas can pull off a couple of shockers as well.

I have intensely watched Hog basketball since Sid was a freshman

And I have never seen a roster like the one we have right now. We have size, athletism, skills, and a great mixture of experience and youth. We have 8-9 guys capable of getting 20-30 points on any given night. We have a basketball junkie coach that the kids seem to love playing for and who seems to inovate as a second nature. In one year he has transformed a roster that had no size and two scorers into the above. I have never seen anything like it anywhere.

On one hand, I grasp that we only have two guys returning. We are pretty much starting from scratch. That's where it gets weird for me. I look at this team on paper and wonder who can match up with us. I look at this team on the court and wonder the same thing. Somebody get in foul trouble? No big deal. A scorer has an off night? We have a roster full of them. Somebody will be hot. We have guys 7-3, 6-10, and 6-9 shooting 3's like guards. If you send your big guys out to guard em, we have a bunch of guards who can take their guy into the vacated paint. We can matchup with size. We can match up with speed. We can win a shootout and we can win a grinder.

Somebody talk me down. This roster looks otherworldly to me. We have plenty of everything including a guru as coach that surely looks like the guy that will know how to maximize said roster. This can't be what I see. What am I missing?
