FB Recruiting HawgBeat 2022 OL Big Board

There are a lot of OL prospects still available but what separates the board occupants from the names to know are communication frequency with the staff and virtual visits taken. Several of the 4-stars on the board are nearing additional cuts so we'll see how well the Hogs did with their virtual visits.

If you've got questions, Hutch and I have to record our pod but I'll be back after to answer!

After watching the game last night on the dial-up internet speed of FLO TV,

I missed something for those who can explain it to me...with the bases loaded in the 9th, there was a passed ball that easily allowed the runner from 3rd base to score...however our other two runners who could have easily advanced to 2nd/3rd base didn't...why ? They later scored anyway but just curious if there was a reason that I didn't see or follow.

Corrected NBA pro hog stat

EDIT: This literally just happened with Gafford, Joe, Jones. I tried going back for a cool stat and it was staring me in the face. Oh well. It's a rarity, nonetheless.

Interesting note: if Moody is drafted in the first round (he will be) it’ll be the third time since 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 that three players have made NBA rosters in a two year span. Beverley is still kicking, while Weems has actually turned down offers to return to the NBA because he’s making good money overseas. Steven Hill only appeared in one game for OKC, though, and was largely in the G-League. Gafford, Mase, and Joe all made rosters in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. With Mase and Isaiah getting a good run this year and Moses likely being a first round pick, it’ll be the most (or second most) performances by that many players in a two year span in the NBA in that time span since 1994-1995 when Beck, McDaniel, and Corliss all got decent-to-good run in the NBA.

Side note: Pargo and Iso had great runs, and one of their teammates, Chris Jeffries, had a decent run, but he transferred to Fresno State from Arkansas, so I didn’t count the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 teams/draft years.

Snow bets- 2/20

Need to make a few hundos today to make up for my grocery bill this past week. Few games I like today...

UK +7.5 - Tenn has been sputtering a bit and UK seems to be picking up a little steam. Tenn won by 11 at UK but think it’s a little closer today.
UGA +8- just beat mizzou and think they are a better team than FL. Could’ve been a teaser but makes this one a lot more appealing.
Missery - 3.5 against USCjr. Anyone know if tillmon is back today? If so, think they could roll and get back on track.

Who y’all taking today?

Viewing board on app

So, for years when on my phone, I viewed this board on safari. I loved it and it was just like being on my desktop. Sometime in the last year, it made me start using the app. Even if I’m in safari and click it takes me to the app.

Not that the rivals app sucks, but it isn’t as good. Or I’m doing it wrong. Cant ever see notifications or search etc.

Any advice?

KJ Jefferson Film Breakdown vs. Missouri

Hey guys, I spent some time breaking down KJ's performance vs. Missouri. I talk about why I think Arkansas was able to have its most successful offensive performance of the season and what I think the offense could look like next year with KJ. It ended up being a whole lot longer than I thought it would but it's pretty detailed. Enjoy!

SEC Tourney seeding

@NWAHutch you might have said this before, but do we know how the seeding will be done for the basketball tourney? Will they do win % or something else?

I’m really pissed about the A&M piece because our remaining games are Alabama, LSU and South Carolina with a 9-4 record in conference play. LSU is 8-4 with Auburn, Georgia, us and Vandy left. Tennessee is 8-4 with Kentucky, Vandy, and Auburn left. Depending on what the conference schedules that make up weekend, A&M very likely cost us the #2 seed.
