If you have any questions on game week about UGA , ask em here and I will answer

Or try to answer at least. I grew up a rabid Razorback fan (both parents went to the UofA) and I had a family member in the athletic office for a long time. I ended up going to UGA though and follow them very closely and have some connections there.

full disclosure: this matchup for me is like watching your parents fight - you just want it to be over. 😂

Got to meet Emmitt Smith, Dickerson, and Warren Sapp yesterday

My daughter is having a soccer tourney in Dallas this weekend, and there is some kind of convention going on this weekend with tons of retired NFL players at our hotel.

We might’ve spilled beer on Sapp’s autograph but it dried out. He also got pissed at us at the end of the night and stormed off to his room, fun story.

FB Recruiting HawgBeat Big Board Notebook: Sept. 21, 2020

The Razorbacks are still at 19 (20) commits for the 2021 class, last commit was at the beginning of Sept.
280 offers total have now been whittled down to 67 available targets to fill the last 5 spots.

Not much has changed in a good way for the Hogs since the last big board update but some other less positive updates...

Razorbacks lost out on Mississippi DB MJ Daniels. He committed to Mississippi State instead of Arkansas but I can see his recruitment having some more drama before it's over.
Two more DBs have cut the Hogs out, one because they weren't recruiting him much and one other. John Howse out of Tennessee hadn't heard from the Hogs much and cut his list down to Michigan, Kansas, BC, Vandy, Miss State and Nebraska.
Andrew Mukuba out of Texas has set his decision date for October 1 and his top four is Texas, Clemson, LSU, Missouri.
California DE Jailen Weaver cut a top 3 of Nebraska, Indiana and Tennessee. Still like where they're at for Louisiana DE Jerrell Boykin though

Cameron Ball was supposed to be deciding tomorrow but not anymore. Hogs still very much in the mix there
OL Armon Bethea has Arkansas in his top group but without being able to visit anywhere, he's taking his time

The NCAA extending the dead period may be better for Arkansas than some other programs. There's a lot less risk of losing commits if they can't take the no-expenses-spared OVs

I'm really glad the coaches were able to get so many commits in before the season so they can focus on winning some games. Hope they cue up another 2022 commit in the next couple weeks though to keep that ball rolling.

I'm going to do my best to keep track of Pittman's approval poll from week to week. I think it could be interesting to see how the fanbase's feelings change over time.

Rocket Mortgage Classic: Live from Detroit Golf Club

Coming to you from Detroit, MI is the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

No Andrew Landry this week.

Sebastian Cappelen tees off with Donnie Trosper and Rhein Gibson. I have zero idea who those jobbers are, but I’m sure @jegreenwood does.

Austin Cook tees off with Kevin “Don’t call me Bob” Tway and Michael “Don’t call me Anthony” Kim.

This is the part of the post where I actually tell you that Detroit is the home of Bob Seger and he’s better than Bruce Springsteen. Period.
