We’ve all been excited for a bit with Muss and the recruiting trail, but here’s even more reason to be excited:
The staff is in a very good place with Harrison Ingram. I’m pretty confident we’ll land him. He’ll be the only ‘21 we sign potentially. The other one might be David Okwera, the 6-11 Australian forward Coach Patrick just offered recently.
We’re going light on the ‘21 class and planning to fill with a mix of GTs and traditional transfers to leave plenty of room for the loaded ‘22 class. I’m hypothesizing our roster looks something like this after the ‘21 class signs:
Still potential that Moody isn’t a one-and-done and that Okwera signs. And, no, I’m not including Bay Bay or Henderson because, frankly, I don’t see them lasting past this upcoming season, if even to then. For this post, I’ll show both possible scenarios:
Connor Vanover
Jaylin Williams
J.D. Notae
Desi Sills
KK Robinson
Devo Davis
Harrison Ingram
Moses Moody
David Okwera

It would make sense to sign three GTs rather than two in this case, even though Muss likes having guys sit out. The goal is to have ~5 open spots for the ‘22 class. Sills would be the only senior, so there’s one scholarship. Moody wouldn’t stay for a third year, two scholarships. Three grad transfers allows for five scholarships in the ‘22 class. Of course, Ingram would likely be a one-and-done, so there’s six scholarships.

Similar here, except in place of Moody you add another sit-out transfer. Still operating with five scholarships for ‘22 if Ingram leaves after one year. Doubt it happens, but CV is on draft boards and could leave early, too. Just don’t see it happening.
Likely ‘22 signees:
We have big boards and individual recruit threads for a reason, but from different posts on this site and conversations I’ve had with different coaches, we seem pretty likely to land Ford, Pinion, and Jayden Epps. By the time they’re seniors, they all might be top-50 guys.
Outside of that:
Likely to pickup Ware if we need the size, but depends on who’s available in the GT market. We’ll have quality size and three bigs (which I see as our main “big” rotation at all times under Muss). If we want or need him, he’s ours, basically.
Not as confident in us landing Nick Smith, Jr. Always a chance, especially with this staff, but kind of think he ends up elsewhere. I know he does like MA and SJU.
Ramel Lloyd, Dyson Daniels, Jarace Walker, Colin Smith, Caleb Houstan
There’s a very good chance our ‘22 recruiting class finishes top-three in the country.
