Security Cameras

Ok I did a search and didn’t find a thread but there probably is one somewhere.

anyone have any recommendations on security cameras/systems? I’m looking for some for the house and not sure about the battery powered wireless ones. How long do they really last, better quality ones, better cloud service etc.

Also, how easy are they to be accessed by someone other than my family? I know hackers can get into most anything, but is it something to really worry about?

TIA for the info!

Kendal Briles

Hey guys and girls. New member. My son hooked me up with a sub for Fathers Day. Just wanted to take a minute and say hi and say how excited I am about Kendal. He is an offensive genius. As I am going through tape watching his Baylor offenses (I'm a coach) this video really stood out to me.

in a bowl game against a top 10 team with 2 QB's and the leading receiver injured, this man still gets his guys in position to win and produce at a high level. I wouldn't be surprised if the QB's are having trouble like last year, we see a Treylon Burks package running like this. He is going to do whatever it takes to get the ball in the end zone. Also love that he isn't scared to go for it on 4th down in +yardage. It's going to be fun to watch!

Thank you

I know, I know, this is going to be a bit cringe but just let me get through it because I think it needs to be said.

@NWAHutch , thank you for your amazing coverage of the hogs, but especially Razorback baseball. It’s hands down the best work in the entire state and has made me become a massive baseball fan.

@nikkichavanelle , thank you for putting up with the constant bullsh*t on the Bert. It’s honestly amazing that you can deal with @jegreenwood and @Mhhoover92 on a day to day basis (sorry guys). Thank you for your amazing coverage of the football team. Even with them being terrible, your work keeps me interested in them.

Both of y’all’s work are what made me a hardcore Razorback fan. In my short time of wanting to be a sports journalist, I really looked up to you guys, so thank you for everything. Finally, thanks to the mods of the Bert. Y’all the real MVP’s @Turbo Buffalo @DuckTalesLOL

Okay, now to get back to posting every other week or so

Defensive Recruiting in this class.

Not gunna lie. At this point I’m a little concerned about defensive recruiting in the 21’ class.

We have 3 commitments. None are very “flashy”. I do like the 3 commits though. This isn’t a bash on them at all. But I just don’t even see us in the running for many guys at this point, and hopefully that’ll change.

DLine - Cameron Ball is about the closet thing to a warm prospect as we have. And we are battling Georgia Tech for a 3 star guy. DE is almost non existent as well. Maybe Arvell Ferguson? Idk, doesn’t seem great.

LB - prospects we are on are underwhelming...leave it at that.

Safety - not much workin that I know about?

CB - Could be good with Norwood and Brown If we can land them along with Parker.

-but Idk, I just feel like maybe we would have at least more “prospects” on the board.

Now on offense I think our class looks much better and we are hitting on some of the guys we really wanted.

I guess I’m just hoping we kinda target a few more big time guys on the defensive side of the ball in Sams first REAL class.

Either way I F’n love Sammy P and think he will surprise a lot of people in the college football world and be a damn good college football coach. Which is all we can ask/hope for. If he can get us back to 6-8 win seasons, it’ll seem like he hung the moon. And I think he can. No Debbie downer stuff intended here, just real deal uncompromised/concerned thoughts.

Way Early SEC Basketball Projections

Working on this piece. Have my order finalized I think, unless you all think it’s absolute garbage haha. I think it’s fair.

1. Tennessee
2. Kentucky
3. Arkansas
4. LSU
5. Florida
6. Alabama
7. Texas A&M
8. Ole Miss
9. South Carolina
10. Mississippi State
11. Auburn
12. Georgia
13. Missouri
14. Vanderbilt

A few notes:

- I debated a long time between LSU and Arkansas. Initially had us at 4 behind them
- Georgia has decent talent but an inept coach.
- Bama and A&M could easily move up with their coaches.
- Auburn lost five of their top six scorers and only has one freshman ready to step in immediately at that same production level.
