I have an assortment of stuff to pass along since there’s not a whole hell of a lot happening sports wise.
First, it was kind of stuck inside a low key lady hog commitment thread, but based on the twitter love I got, figured I share again here. My wife and I have known Coach Neighbors since his first stint at Arkansas (she was a low D1 level recruit back in the day but chose the tradition of ATU and
Joe Foley). When he moved back after Xavier and UW, we caught up again and he saw my hog jeep. Went nuts over it, with good reason. Fast forward to this spring and he asks if he/ his daughter can use the jeep for her wedding get away ride. I was happy to. When we met up last week he couldn’t believe the reactions from the foundation brass and other folks at the wedding, as well as around town when he was driving it around. It was a huge success. He wants it now but idk if I can let it go. I don’t twatter much and have NO other social media because it’s the devil, but had tons of likes (for a no-count like me) regarding the jeep. Pretty cool stuff.
Next up, Jersey, entering her senior year is indeed a legit 6’5” beast. She has come into her size much more so than last year, where she had some hitches with her release. Much stronger and still so fluid. Looking for her to win another title at northside this year and would bet any amount she starts as a true freshman for Mike.
Last tidbit of a long post, I look for I. Joe to be gone. I have NOT spoken with him directly but I suspect he thinks he is a late first, early second round pick and with contract structures , possibly thinks being a early second round pick (short contract with sooner renegotiated terms and pay) is something he may be betting on himself to strive for/ prove his worth.
In Florida now and entering vacation mode with the family otherwise. That’s all I got.
