He receives quite a bit of criticism, but I think you should tip your cap to him after a game like this...

Favorite to be named coach at Utah State.

Good for him, as he needs a reset after all he went through at STATE (on and off the field).

But what a random place to land. Had he left last year, he’d had his pick.

And this happens ever week it seems. We started the first two drives of the game with quick slants. Both were successful for about 15 yards each.


We then proceeded to not throw another slant the rest of the game if memory serves me correctly. Everything after seems to just be slow developing long balls or these DC's are tightening up the middle to stop it every game, not sure what the problem is... but we seem to go away from what works pretty quickly.

Kane Wommack was a fullback at Arkansas from 2005-2006 before transferring to Southern Miss. His father is Dave Wommack, who was an assistant for the Hogs, including as the defensive coordinator from 2002-2004.

Why is Burks wearing 10?

With Filleepay most likely leaving, who do you think I’d the starter for 2021?

KJ offers experience but very minimal experience at that, for a guy that is in his 3rd year.

Coley has a good arm and some legs. Not sure about his size yet, as he looks small, but small guys do well in this system.

Grad Transfer would be huge if we can get a guy in here in January. Not sure who it’s gonna be but seems inevitable to get one.

Rodgers I really like because he’s got a massive arm, SEC size already, smart, and can flat out run when called on to do so. Not timid at all.

Maybe I'm still damaged from the Morris era but it seems like most of these high performing mid-major guys struggle in P5 jobs.

There are obviously exceptions (Urban Meyer) but not too many that I can think of. ADs might want to avoid those shiny new toys!

He must be struggling to not get any run in that blow out. If we don't find another QB for next year, PItt's first season will be better than his second. We need a strong 2022 class in a bad way, and we better hope some of these 2021 guys are underrated.

I think this class is ok. And maybe it’s because of COVID but I totally expected to flip a few 4 stars or something. Kiffin is killing us right now. I would say Pittman and kiffin are both elite recruiters. But right now I’m not seeing pittmans recruiting ability come into full effect yet. And you can’t say time on the job, because kiffins had just as much time.

They were trying to pin the punt returner to the sideline but the punt went to the middle of the field.

I know Hutch probably has a thread on this but I couldn't find it. Starkel is completing 74% of his passes for 693 yards and 7 TD and 1 INT in 2 games. 178 rating. And has SJSU 2-0.

I know its not the SEC, but we probably couldn't have beaten Air Force or New Mexico last year. We sure couldn't beat SJSU. And Starkel sure as hell wouldn't have put up those type of numbers even with better talent.
