Another Covid Thread-Kinda

Was just thinking about the impact of Covid on football teams and how the strength of a team could be impacted in a 24hr period and force a team to cancel a game. That team strength could depend on as little as one position (Ex. A QB room is depleted down to a 5’7” practice squad guy that’s just not that good)

Not sure what’s wrong with me but lately I’ve gotten to where I don’t trust anyone. Ha! So I’ll throw this out here.

Do you think a powerhouse would falsely report a Covid breakout and cancel against a typically lesser opponent if they lost key critical player/s?

May be a silly to think they might and I know this comes down to the character of the coach and AD. I know there are guidelines for scholarship player minimums, position numbers etc. Would they skew that report if they thought they were at risk of losing to a lesser team?

I'm intrigued to see how much the kool aid has been drunk in the off season and/or people's predictions on the progression of the program.

I'm going Georgia by 30-39.

Observations:
1. Petrino is a wizard.
2. We had a bunch of tailbacks - Knile, Wingo, Green, Curtis
3. Jake Bequette, Joe Adams, and DJ Williams were BAD men. Joe is up there w/ Batman Carroll as one of the great shit-talkers of all time (Joe backed it up though).
4. Our secondary was AWFUL.
5. We were fingertips away from going to OT.
6. We were the ranked team. Crazy.
