Well I just can't see any scenario where George Floyd is looking down and thinking "This is a great day for him"
Yeah I didn’t watch the press conference but from the short clip I saw I don’t think he was saying it was a great day for Floyd bc of the economy. Though of course that does sound like something Trump would say, so I’m not surprised people think that was what it was in reference to.
But either way it was still just a really dumb comment.

On the other hand, those of us who pay taxes are effectively subsidizing the leftist policies of those states through the SALT deduction. Or at least we were until Trump's tax reform package.
If California or any other state leaves the union, they need to take their share of the national debt with them as well.

He was clearly asking them not to respond in a crazy way you’re trying to make it seem like he was trying to get them to really come after us. He was trying to calm it down.

The church wasn’t burned down. The nursery was severely damaged, but the rest was fine. And that was the day before. No one applauds that outside of the âssholes that did it. Quit acting like people are happy about it or approve of it.
The protestors that were gassed the following day for Trump’s blasphemous photo op weren’t setting fire to anything.
It's almost like the people who were protesting the day after, like the actual people who congregate at that church, weren't the ones before that was vandalizing it.
I'm not sure why you can't separate the two. Peaceful protesters are not the same as the people rioting in the streets.

From reading local reports, he's been at several of the protests and had no issues. Him falling down sucks, and maybe he shouldn't have advanced towards them...
but he's like 85 years old. I would think there were better ways to handle that situation for everyone involved.

Not sticking up for the cops because of their actions after the fact, but that shit was shady. He was rubbing his hand down around the cops waste. I do think it was kinda crappy of the officer to pull the other officer back when he went to check on the guy, but I understand they probably have protocol they have to follow.
