Congrats Joe Biden!!! #46 President of the United States!

I'm not going to get a deep discussion right now, but of course you can go a Dr. But if you don't have insurance and you end up having to pay thousands if not 10's of thousands in medical bills thats bullshit. The term medical banktuptcy should not be a term that exists.

Go Fund Me is the 3rd "largest" insurance provider in the country.
OK so change your post to say you think that everyone has the right to subsidized or free healthcare Bernie. That's obviously much different than the "right to healthcare" narrative you tried to pass through originally.

I just don’t see how we could run a socialized medicine plan with this large of a diverse population. It would be nice, but the finances of it would be astronomical. Maybe the moneys there and just not spent well. Not sure.
I’ll tell you how! Malpractice drs. They may not be good but they aren’t nothing!

Steel and about 500 other industries. Accounting, banking, construction, trucking, legal, engineering, hotels, restaurants, bars, you name it.
Yea I knew it would trickle down. I guess google, Facebook, Twitter, the msm, and the Democratic Party did it. Crazy close still and this one will be sloppy and go to court.

If the public even had a whiff of a clue about how many economy sucking poor welfare recipients go to the emergency room every day for the common cold and never pay a dime..........

My monetary theory is that for the Fed, money is not real. Read a real interesting book called The Deficit Myth: Modern Monetary Theory and the Birth of the People Economy

It basically says that for the Fed, money isn't really. Its like clicking a few extra 000's on a computer screen. The federal government doesn't need to budget like a household.

I don't really have a point to contribute to the argument at hand, but something I've been thinking a lot about....

We spend so much time worrying and arguing about how can we pay for Healthcare... a revenue issue. The US spends something like 20% of GDP on Healthcare, and the next largest spending country spends something like 11%. It seems to me we have a cost problem, not a revenue problem.

I mean realistically is there actually a way to pay of 27 trillion dollars in debt?

When you can print money and use inflation to pay your interest... yea
Exactly it’s Monopoly money at this point. War would be less expensive than paying off the debts you owe to other countries and that’s what would be done if it came to it.

I think that’s how inflation happens?

That’s kind of my point. We run a privatized industry and we still spend an incredible amount of government funds on HC. We’d have to literally change everything...not just think we can run the same car while switching diesel for our unleaded gas.

Maybe it’s possible, but the only way it’s been possible in OECD countries is to tax everyone at least 40%.

We can't pay you that 2 trillion, but we gotta bunch of guns if y'all wanna have a shootout. Y'all win, we pay you 2 trillion. We win, we don't owe you anything.

It would be an incredible undertaking that probably would take at least 5 years to complete. Definitely not easy at all. Glad I wouldn't be in charge of it lol

If Biden wins with a Senate flip, the most likely change coming would be to reduce the Medicare age to 55 or something. Without the Senate flip, nothing will be done for the next couple years at least.

Unless something astronomically insane happens, it looks like it will be 52-48 R.

Edit: Maybe even 53-47. Collins in Maine I had no idea still had a shot.

Yep exactly. No senate flip. Pretty pathetic night for the Dems. But what can you expect when the hand-picked Schumer/DCC candidates are corporate puppets. American people never lie

Get ready, Biden promised many of those individuals cabinet seats...

Yup. Not excited at all about this single term president. IMO if Trump would've stopped with calling Biden a Socialist and simply hammered him on his horrible history, he would've won in a landslide. Biden has a lot of faults, and being a ''socialist'' isn't one of them.

Never understood that line of attack

It’s been said that line of voting won him Florida. It’s also partly true...he said socialized medicine would be an option for Americans.

If free shit is an option, tens of millions will do it...who pays for that free shit? The poor? The rich? My guess, everyone through taxes.
