Watching you guys dive down the rabbit hole of misinformation while talking about the fake news media is pretty hilarious, I gotta admit. Why otherwise intelligent folks believe such dumb shit is beyond me. I supppse it’ll wait til January for the reality to finally set in that Trump got his ass kicked.

Trump’s ego is his excuse for being delusional about this. What is everyone else’s excuse for stroking his ego for him?
I agree there is an enormous amount of misinformation out there right now. However, there is some actual findings happening: Georgia ballots, Nevada voting irregularities which included over 100 people trying to vote twice, Michigan several thousand ballots added for Trump after a glitch was found.

At the end of the day, fraud is out there, it just doesn't appear to be substantial enough to change anything.

Here's to hoping we get rid of an arbitrary outdated system and move to something more person/technical to easily find discrepencies.

Very few of those things are actually fraud, though. There were a few folks that tried to vote twice, which would be fraud. The issue in GA was human error. Literally no state officials are citing voter fraud in Nevada. When 150 million people do anything you’ll have a few fvcks out there scheming. But as has been said repeatedly, and as you said, there’s not enough fraud to flip election results.

Well, I take that back. There is a Republican operative being charged with election fraud in North Carolina that changed the governor’s race. I think I read they are re-doing the election but I could be wrong on that. But on the national level, nothing.

Let me say, I think fraud would be more impactful on local elections than national. And I’m betting there’s more “there” there than with the trump delusion.

Voter fraud isn’t the issue. Although there clearly was voter fraud.

Election Fraud, to your point, is what constitutionalist are bringing lawsuits around and that’s a different argument.

Constitutionalists aren't touching this charade with a ten foot pole. I think you mean hacks.

Maybe so.

The EO signed in 2018 regarding foreign interference in elections is what Trump will rely on if they prove election fraud, then it is a constitutional discussion.

So now it’s foreign countries stealing the election and not democrats?

Wasn’t that how Trump got elected? That was the argument in 16.
I certainly don’t remember anyone stomping their feet and refusing to accept that Trump won. Hillary conceded pretty quickly and everyone moved on. Crying foul about the russians helping trump (which they did) wasn’t stealing an election.

Everyone didn’t move on.

Pelosi said, “ by any means necessary” then tried to remove Trump with all measure of BS, constantly trying to undermine his legitimate presidency.

So, it’s fair IMO that the law abiding citizens in this country don’t trust what’s taking place now.

Sure, Biden got more votes than any candidate ever..... without campaigning.

Regardless how this goes, conservatives aren’t going to burn down the country in the way the lefts BLM and Antifa extremists have. Talk about throwing tantrums for not getting your way.

As for Pelosi, after what the GOP pulled on Obama, anything the Dems did to trump was fair game. Trump would have been removed had Republicans had a back bone.

There’s also a huge difference between protesting for police reform and racial equality than pretending Trump won the election. No one was out protesting in the streets over the election. But you absolutely have folks on the right threatening armed revolt. Let’s not pretend both sides don’t have their nut jobs.

Oh wow...

Hillary said in the moments before the election that is was “stolen” and “under no circumstances should Joe concede.”

I guess you dont remember the Wisconsin recount...even though it would have meant nothing regardless if it had flipped. The country being labeled racist, the election a “whitelash,” the March on DC where not my president was the battle cry, comedians holding severed heads of Trump effigies, instant allegations of Russian interference, and on and on and on.

Democrats have a leg to stand on that this recount is frivolous. However, they don’t have an ounce of self-awareness or resemblance of integrity if, “just accept it” and “Hillary accepted pretty quickly” is their rationale.

Democrats are corrupt. There’s no doubt about that. But hillary did concede the election within a few days. And Russia did help Trump win. Both of those things are proven facts.

To pretend the right acts better than the left is laughable. They’re both willing to act like spoiled children. It’s just that this time it’s way more popular to pretend trump won the election, and that form of nuttiness is way more mainstream in the GOP at the moment. Maybe because their ass kicking has that fresh feeling to it. I’m sure they’ll back down come January and go back to regular obstructionism.

I am a Republican based on my beliefs, however the only thing that scares me about the DEM's is this socialism crap honestly. I dont like the way country is currently with the BLM and protesting turned looting bullshit. I just want it all to stop. I believe the Dems orchestrated a lot of things but I believe Trump should step aside gracefully. The United States of America is the shinning example of freedom/Democracy for the world. Allow the exchange of power peacefully and then the Republican party needs to get to work hard the next 4 years to get the "socialist minded" away from power.

Random thoughts, sorry if they ran on

The problem is that republicans like socialism too. They just want it to benefit the rich elite instead of everyone else.

  • "To pretend the right acts better than the left..." never said that. Actually, I inferred the opposite when I said the recount was frivolous. Good try at a straw man, though.
  • For the past 4 years all we've heard, "Russia stole the election." To infer that 15 days after the election, even though Gore took Florida to the supreme court for the exact same reason, that it's "way more popular," is insanely idiotic. Name a singular news outlet, besides perhaps OANN which is obviously propaganda for the extreme right, which has remotely given credence to the idea that this is isn't a called election.
  • "...way more mainstream in the GOP at the moment..." again, laughable. In 2018, the moment after the Ds won the house every individual was indicating they would be impeaching Trump for interfering and "stealing" the election. The "stolen" election has pretty much been the battle cry for the Ds since November 2016.
  • "...ass kicking..." again, laughable. If anything, I'd be worried if I were a D. This election showed that with the most voter turnout in history, if Rs voted for the executive the way they voted for the legislative, they would have won. Ds winning by 6 million votes in California isn't going to cut it anymore. That's why you're seeing Ds like Munchin basically calling out the progressives that are currently ruining their party.

The Republicans have put undoubtedly the worst candidate in the history of politics as the nominee twice in 4 years and have had enough votes down ballot to win the executive election...both times.

    Good luck.

I’m gonna go ahead and just not pretend that if I spent time responding we’d get somewhere. Everything I’ve said is just logical. You obviously lean pretty far right so it’s difficult for you to see the truth of the matter. Hell, Fox News is out there every day sending Hannity and Tucker to preach to the masses.

I’m good with whatever you wish to believe, but the GOP has gone off the damn rails. We will see if the democrats can keep it together while they lead, but I won’t hold my breath.

"I.E." I have no rationale response. It's all good. And as a heads up, I voted D in 2008, 2012, and voted Libertarian in 2016...

I'm about as moderate as it gets...I just can't stand smug D whose knowledge is a mile wide but an inch deep. That, along with a remarkabely stupid platform transition from liberal ideals to marxism and cancel culture, is the reason I stopped voting for that party.

But good talk.

I’ve voted 3rd party my entire adult life for president until this election. So I’m far from a partisan. My unwillingness to spend time discussing things we are miles apart on, and neither of us are likely to change our views on should be seen less as a lack of ability to argue the points, and more as am unwillingness to waste my time doing it.

I simply can’t stomach what the republicans have turned into. Way too many anti-intellectual, factless dipshits out there representing the GOP for me to have anything but contempt for them at the moment. Throwing their supposed values out the window to blow trump every chance they get is just too much for me to stomach with them. I didn’t vote Biden because dems are good. I did it because the Republican Party at the moment is a shell of what it used to be. All it took for them to throw their values to the wayside was a taste of power.

"I've been arguing with people for the last 10 pages...but now, since you've brought up my blatant hypocrisy and lack of understanding of the facts, I'm unwilling to spend time arguing and I'll just continue to play a whataboutism game."

Got it.

Yeah bro. It’s because you’re such a raging intellectual and have such sound arguments that I’m afraid to embarrass myself. You’re a strange dude, for sure.

I'm not calling you stupid as you again are deflecting. I'm saying you haven't brought up a singular fact and when told this fact you obfuscate with straw man tactics, make vague generalizations like things are "popular" and "ass kickings" while actually not really saying anything at all. It's odd. It's almost like you don't really understand what you're talking about and just want to argue with obscurities.

Good on you dude. Live your life how you want. If you want to just stick your head in the sand, tell everyone around you that disagrees with you that they're not smart enough for you to talk to and there are "too many anti-intellectual, factless dipshits" out there, awesome. There's room for everyone.

You can have the last word. It's hard to argue with someone that doesn't actually say anything other than, "but what about the other guy."

Sir you are incorrect as hell! I was military (Army) for a portion of my life. Our annual pay raises under republican commander/chiefs was ALWAYS greater than our Democratic Presidents
Within the first month of President Trumps presidency my paycheck jumped up $100 higher from less taxes being with held (people tend to forget about that)... I can go on and on but those two should be enough for you. I understand you like other dem's will still defend you point of view and thats perfectly fine, I still respect ya even though you are dead wrong lol
