Alright guys settle down

I’m disappointed in the penalties and the blown coverages on defense, but our scheme is heavily dependent on getting pressure on the QB with 3 or 4 rushers. That’s a tall task any game but Pittman is here to recruit players that can execute our schemes against SEC caliber offensive lines

This isn’t what I was hoping for tonight, but we got the right staff. Just want to see the team keep fighting

I can officially declare Elephants our winner of the Large Land Animal segment of Hawgbert's First Ultimate Animal Deathmatch. Grizzlies made a hell of a run, but the championship was never in doubt. A big congratulations to these ancient, wise beasts.

And thank you Hawgbert for playing along. Stay tuned, as next week we begin part 2, insects. It'll be an interesting one. The pool of challengers is already being composed.

A final look at the bracket:

Football Franks makes Unitas Golden Arm watchlist

Arkansas redshirt senior QB Feleipe Franks has been included on the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Top 15 Watch List, the organization announced Friday. The Golden Arm Award is presented annually to the top upperclassman quarterback set to graduate with their class.

Franks has given an immediate lift to the Razorbacks offense, throwing for 1,428 yards and 14 touchdowns, the most scoring tosses by a Hog since Austin Allen’s 25 in 2016. He ranks fifth in the SEC in passing yards, passing touchdowns, passing efficiency (154.7), completion percentage (67.2%) and points responsible for (84).

Last week against Tennessee, Franks completed 18-of-24 passes for 215 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. His 75% completion percentage is the highest of his Razorback career and his second highest overall after completing 92.6% of his passes (25-of-27) while playing for Florida against UT Martin last season. He also threw for a career-high 318 yards at No. 13 Auburn and rushed for a career-best 91 yards at No. 8 Texas A&M. The Crawfordville, Fla. native has thrown for 200+ yards in each of the first six games of the season, the first Hog QB to do so since at least 2000.

Question about contact tracing

For those who may know, but I have a question about contact tracing. I know that there is provable documentation for players that test positive. Even though those names are withheld the documentation is there. What is the documentation for contact tracing? How transparent is this? Does the sec just accept the numbers reported by the member schools? Sure is a lot of canceled games this weekend by schools that aren’t having a good year. Hard for me to understand that players that are not testing positive still can’t play. As messed up as the nfl has become, they do not have this problem.
I appreciate your help in answering this question.
