Rivercrest’s game against Gosnell has been cancelled due to Covid concerns at Gosnell. Anyone know of a school with a football team and an open week? Any classification, preferably in the state of Arkansas due to logistics.

In the past few days, FOUR Arizona State commitments have re-opened their recruitment after apparently having their scholarships pulled.

This is becoming a trend for the Sun Devils and Herm Edwards, it seems. They did it to two kids last year just eight days before signing day. One of them ended up at Stephen F. Austin instead.

Doing it in October is at least a little better, but I’m not a particularly big fan of this kind of thing. If you’re not sure you want to take a kid, tell him you won’t accept his commitment. I get it if it happens every now and then, but six in two years? Not a great look, IMO.

I grew up in the River Valley, right on the Oklahoma border. My dads side of the family are all from the Spiro, Ok area and are huge OU fans. In fact I was removed from my Great Grandmas will because I’m a Razorback fan.. true story!

My first two years of college I went to a private school in Moore, Ok just a few miles from Norman and I actually lived on Lindsey St my Sophomore year. So some of my best friends are OU fans.. to say I hate that fukcing team would be understatement! The last few years have been BRUTAL with us being as bad we have been and them having a Heisman winner/contestant E V E R Y D A M N year!

When we play them in any sport, that is my national championship!

Not sure if anyone saw, or even cares, that Chase Hayden has opted out from ECU. Looks like he lost carries and was demoted to special teams only.

Not sure what his plans are. My guess is he wants to transfer again and try to win more carries. Can’t help but think he might have helped us this year.
