Arkansas Opponents are 11/15 on FGs 45yds or Further...

Over the last two years, Arkansas has faced kickers who are 11/15 from kicks over 45 yards. All of the misses came in 2019 as kickers are perfect this year, regardless of distance, except for Auburns wide right kick from 38 in a tropical storm. Oddly enough, all 4 of the misses (Colorado State, Auburn, Kentucky, and San Jose State) all had kicks in that game that were made from over 45 yards.

The NFL average for kicks from 40-49 is 76%...so essentially, from a percentage standpoint, we’ve played and/or created an easy enough environment for kickers to perform like professionals against us.

From my last big board update:
Hogs had a virtual visit with Isaiah Iton, among several other programs to do so recently. Iton says he's not rushing a decision but he is a mid-year guy so he's got just a few weeks to get stuff figured out. Hogs could take him early and still have room for Cameron Ball to sign in February. Iton and Jalen Williams from Jones College are both high on the wishlist for Ole Miss.

Congrats to Funnel Web Spider on winning the Insects and Spiders region of our Hawgbert Ultimate Animal Deathmatch. The world's deadliest spider certainly had no issues on its way to becoming champion. This was another good one folks.

Next week, the bracket will consist of Birds and Other Flyers. Leave your requests below as to which creatures you would like to see showcased on next weeks' bracket.

There can only be one.

Our OL

What a sorry bunch of guys.

Complain all y’all want about Briles, Fountain, rushing 3, or Catalon’s targeting but our OL a bunch of weak, scared guys. I’d love to use other words.

I wouldn’t ever consider talking bad about them if they just didn’t play well, but playing scared and uninspired is a whole different level of pathetic.

@Mhhoover92 I’m going to go burn my couch.

When will....

The Hogs play well enough to not have to use a single play/bad call/bad break as an excuse for why they didn’t win?

Seems like we ALWAYS have 2-3 games that we blame a loss on one thing that happened. Doesn’t matter how good or bad we are. There’s usually several chances to right the wrong that we don’t take advantage of, then we go and blame it on something

When will we get out of that habit and just put games away? We can’t get out of our own way sometimes.
