I can’t stand him, more importantly I can’t stand being totally dominated by him for over what seems to be 50 years
However, I do respect what he’s done, I appreciate excellence and a leader that shows they can do it year in and year out with different people. What he’s done is incredible
But now that he’s passed the Bear, what else is there to prove? Is he trying to catch Yale at 18 championships so Bama can be #1 of all time, I doubt it
-He’s 69, I’m sure he’s tired (not tired of winning)
-Surely he doesn’t truly enjoy being around this newer generation at 69, it’s business to him
-It appears he’s losing more ( especially on O ) than he ever has before, he’s always had a qb, rb, or WRs coming back to make them dominant but maybe not this year, I know they have 5 stars waiting to replace them, but they are starting over on O with a new OC again
-Their D is young, but their O carried them this year.
-I’m sure with COVID this year, he’s been more frustrated with the planning or operations of ever.ything Covid related
-If he comes back and they are not as good, don’t make playoffs or SEC championship that would kill him, especially a couple years in a row. He wouldn’t want to go out like that
-Why keep going? Can’t be financially
-I’m sure he has family and grandkids he could spend more time with
Or is he just too driven, can’t step away, loves it too much, and will not know what to do with himself if he’s not coaching. Surely they’d get him as an analyst, maybe he could stand that
Thoughts?
