Football More depth, early playing time on deck for young players at Arkansas due to NCAA ruling

I like Pittman's stance on this a lot. As long as he's true to his word about playing whoever he thinks has the higher ceiling then incoming 2021s and the younger guys shouldn't be worried about seniors staying:

It occurred to me while watching Oats' postgame presser, and his obnoxious clapping during the game, that I do not care for Nate Oats. And then it occurred to me that I really don't care for Bruce Pearl who comes to BWA on Tuesday.

It seems to me that the 'bert needs a Likability Index. So in honor of the upcoming Iowa Caucus we will now vote (yeah I know a caucus and a primary ain't the same thing, but whatever) for the most and least likable SEC basketball coaches and produce our very own 'bert Likability Index.

Rivals only allows for 10 choices so I left off Muss, Stack, Buzz and Barnes, HOWEVER if they are in your top 5 disliked coaches then put them in your response below.

The results will be posted prior to the Auburn game. HAPPY VOTING!

FB Recruiting 2021 Commits Ratings Updates - Offense

No bumps to 4 stars for any offensive Hog commits this time around, which doesn't surprise me too much given the analysts don't have anything new from them really to work with. There were two offsetting rating changes...
Terry Wells was bumped from 5.6 to 5.7 so that's + 15 points
Javion Hunt went from a 5.7 to a 5.6 so that's -15

Lucas Coley is still a 5.6 but he made the dual threat QB rankings at No. 25
Wells was unranked at OT but is now No. 42, Carson went from No. 40 to No. 45
Bryce Stephens went from the No. 31 ranked WR to.... 78

Football Practice No. 4 Notes

From Hutch:
Trey Knox was back but was in green and not in shoulder pads. He's gotta catch up to the acclimatization period.
Catalon was there and in helmet only but not participating much
Tyson Morris is back but he also wasn't in shoulder pads, wrapped up right hand
McClellion was back and we think he only missed one practice last week

Brad Davis wasn't there during the short period the media was there, Pittman led the OL drills.

Hutch will have more when he gets home

FB Recruiting New 2021 Rivals250 released

Some updates on Arkansas targets: https://n.rivals.com/prospect_rankings/rivals250/2021
56 of the 250 are still undecided
No commits made it into the top 250
Utah OL target Kingsley Suamataia dropped 4 spots to No. 63, Rayshaun Benny dropped 4 spots to No. 90, Ketron Jackson fell 11 spots to No. 183, Jayden Thomas fell 63 spots to No.194

At the risk of the usual ridicule from the board, I truly believe that Hunter Yurachek

should have flatly refused the SEC home office when they slated the Razorbacks to play both Florida and Georgia this season on top of our previous difficult schedule. He should have told them that we will play one of the two and play the other in proper rotation next year. If the league office refused to change the schedule then we should chose to forfeit one of the games. It is senseless to take extreme measures to protect the players from Covid-19 only to almost guarantee multiple injuries from the grind of such a brutal schedule. If the league office and Greg Sankey refuse their obligation to treat all league members fairly, then H.Y. must step up and protect the team from the idiots playing favorites in the league office.

Sooo....

Got to bite the bullet on this one. The other day I put out that I thought Coates looked too skinny to be 289 lbs. I was wrong. After Hutch ( thanks Hutch for telling us about this) pointed out that once you see Coates up close you realize just how large of a man he is. After looking at the videos today, I can see that he is definitely a lot bigger than I thought. I’m a man that can admit when he’s wrong and I was wrong on this one.
