OT 100% NOT the Official Off-Topic/Politics/Corona Thread

Well every other major news outlet says otherwise. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see when it becomes super official.
They usually do if you haven’t figured that out yet.
This guy has been spot on for years. If it’s an opinion or a guess, he says so, but if it’s a fact, it’s backed up with proof as he does in that article.

how many officers have been hurt or killed in the "protests"? Can you give us those numbers?

The videos I see are of actual protestors or people caught by erratic rubber bullets. I can show you a video of a guy in the middle of the street being pepper sprayed when he wasn't in any way threatening, and then he had a canister launched at his head from probably less than 20 feet away.

I have no idea how many cops have been injured or killed, but I would hazard a guess that the ones that are committing those crimes are not simply protesting.

Ah, so we’re supposed to believe this random dude over the Associated Press...

having a hard time with that one.

“Trump's nationalism, rhetoric, and intolerance of dissent "all recall fascist models," Paxton said, but he wouldn't go as far to explicitly attach the label "fascist" to Trump. The independence with which the Trump administration grants to businesses, including tax privileges, relief from environmental rules, and support in trade conflicts, among other freedoms, leads Paxton to lean toward calling the Trump administration "plutocratic rather than fascist."

"Somebody who is totally erratic and has no ultimate vision, and is basically knee-jerking all the time, it's almost a misuse of the term to flatter them with a political science term, because it gives their behavior a sort of Machiavellian subtlety, which it lacks in the case of Trump," Roger Griffin, author of "The Nature of Fascism"and emeritus professor in modern history at Oxford Brookes University, told Insider.

"He resembles to me, a sort of late Roman emperor, one of these half-breeds who got in through the backdoor through a murder or marriage ... with no strategy or vision or institutional ideology," Griffin added of Trump, stating he's not "intelligent enough" to be called a fascist.”

My question is, what kind of a question is that? Who cares if he owns a bible as long as he protects the rights of religion, which he has done. Thats why he has the support of evangelists. Its not because they expect him to be a shining example of Christianity.

On a side note, if he had answered that atrocious question with a simple "yes", most here would have called him a liar. Im not sure what difference it makes, anyways
In itself not a condemnation but just another log on the fire. Phony to the core.

No, you can believe the guy that released a statement that this reporter linked.
So church leaders say they were gassed, but we can’t believe them.

But the guy in charge being scrutinized for tear gassing people denies it so we automatically believe him.

Makes perfect sense.

The cops are saying no tear gas was used, they used smoke after asking the protesters to move back 3 times. They werent going to allow Trump to walk through the crowd, for good reason. Im sure people take pics in front of that church all the time, its a historic place. Who are you to say how he pays his respects. Did he muck it up for the camera a bit? Sure, hes a president, the most powerdul man in the entire friggin world, hes a narcisist, as anyone would have to be to desire to be president. We know your morals are beyond reproach, you have reminded everyone of that numerous times in this thread, but mocking faith is a place i wont go, its dangerous waters if youre a believer. If you arent a believer, find some damn respect or something better to do with your time
False prophets ring a bell.

FBI Finds ‘No Intel Indicating Antifa Involvement’ in Sunday’s Violence

I’m shocked (not really)

Funny little excerpt from the article: “The report did warn that individuals from a far-right social media group had “called for far-right provocateurs to attack federal agents, use automatic weapons against protesters.” (The Nation is withholding the name of the group in order to not disrupt any potential law enforcement investigations.)”

Lol. Almost everyone of those articles they claim aren’t backed up as fact have been now backed up or they’re about to be in the Durham probe.

Again, I’ve followed the guy for years now when he’s been on Hannity. He’s been almost spot on and it’s all slowly coming out.

People are going to choose who they do or don’t believe. I’ll take the one that’s battling all the left wing media, which is what he’s doing.

You can choose the media member, I'll choose the actual clergy members that were there protesting.

I’ve got to quit looking at this thread. It’s just a real downer. We need sports back where we all have something in common.

And again, who do you think would be more prone to lie about the experience? The guy being blasted across the country for spraying innocent protesters, or elderly female clergywomen that are protesting outside their church.

Not really a tough decision.
How about you read the whole thing and think for yourself just once. You really think they released tear gas without any mask on for themselves? And then Trump walks through just minutes later, come on man.

Believe what you want. I thought by now ITT you would learn to listen to me as I’ve shown you things you had no idea the real truth to. Just give it a couple more months and you will see even more.

I watched it live. Protesters were peaceful. They got cleared out violently to clear a path for Trump and his idiotic photo op.

Do your own research and show sources. And you wonder why your arguments aren’t credible.
Oh, you mean I go do research and bring false news from Twitter here like you do?

BWahahahahahahaha

Yes, I knew someone would say that. I’m just reading the direct quotes.

Obviously someone is lying, which is sad. It’s just so hard to trust anything now days.

Your articles state that Park Police used “smoke canisters AND pepper balls” but the spin focuses on the smoke canisters instead of tear gas.

I think you and Just The News are smart enough to know that pepper balls would produce similar end result to pepper spray (even if true). It’s all too convenient to say the protesters suddenly became violent once Trump decided to cross the street for a BS photo op. The fact is Park Police instigated the violence on behalf Trump. It was not past curfew either. They had a right to stand their ground in protest.
